Random Thoughts in April
- The Stillness Spell

The house is quiet tonight. The only sounds are the soft hum of the fridge and the deep rumbles of thunder rolling through the April sky.
I sit still, wrapped in a cozy blanket, a warm cup of tea in hand. Rain taps on the windows like a soft lullaby, and for once, I don't feel the need to do anything else but just be.
Storms used to scare me. The loud crashes, the unpredictability... but tonight, the thunder feel like an old friend. Strong, honest, and cleansing.
In this silence, I find space to reflect. It feels peaceful. Healing isn't a straight line -- it's slow, wavy, and full of little moments like this. Moments where I realize, I'm okay. I'm healing.
Not fixed. Not perfect. But softer. More present. A little lighter inside.
Maybe that's what April is all about -- showers and softness, storm clouds and stillness, and learning to grow even when the skies feel grey.
